Biography
From chamber pages he was promoted to ensign of the Life Guards Semenovsky Regiment. Since August 22, 1854, the lieutenant, in the same year, was part of the troops guarding the coast of the Baltic Sea.
In December 1854, by the Highest Command, he was sent to Sestroretsk for training in arms production, and from there, by the Highest Command of May 15, 1855, he was sent to the Commander-in-Chief of the Southern Army to adapt military supplies, and he set up a Workshop in Kherson.
Returning from a business trip on March 21, 1856, he was sent to the 14th Infantry Division to specify the rules for casting French bullets and making live ammunition. October 19, 1860 promoted to lieutenant, August 30, 1862 to the staff captains.
From July 7 to November 18, 1863 he was with a regiment in the Vilna Military District, to pacify the Polish rebellion, and for the difference in the case on the Omula River (October 25), on February 6, 1864 he was awarded the Order of St. Anna of the 3rd degree with swords and a bow.
March 27, 1866 promoted to captain and in the same year on August 30 he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav 2 degrees.
On April 20, 1869, he was promoted to colonel and on August 30 of the same year he was awarded the Imperial Crown to the Order of St. Stanislav of the 2nd degree.
On August 30, 1871 he was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 2nd degree and on August 30, 1873 he was awarded the Imperial Crown for the same order.
On March 20, 1875 he was appointed commander of the 111th Infantry Don Regiment and on November 17 of the same year he was appointed commander of the 96th Omsk Infantry Regiment.
During the Russo-Turkish war, from September 18 to January 9, 1878, he was part of the Calarasi detachment, which defended the left bank of the Danube.
From January 9 to February 6, 1878 he was part of the Zhurzhevsky detachment, participated in the transition along the Tvarditsky pass and from March 25 to May 27 was part of the Sliven detachment.
In contrast to matters, on November 19, 1878 he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir with swords.
On November 29, 1878, for the difference in cases against the Turks, he was promoted to major general with admission to the army infantry and reserve troops; then, on December 19, 1880, he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav of the 1st degree for excellent diligent service and work in the former army. Based on the order of the military department of 1861, No. 253, he was assigned by the Major General to the lists of the 96th Omsk Infantry Regiment.
March 29, 1881 he was appointed commander of the 2nd brigade of the 22nd Infantry Division, and on December 23 of the same year he was appointed commander of the 1st brigade of the 22nd Infantry Division.
June 24, 1885 was awarded the Order of St. Anne of 1 degree.
