Biography
In 1938, after graduation, he was drafted into the Red Army and ended up at the Novosibirsk School of Younger Aviation Specialists, from which he was sent to the Barnaul Infantry School on June 30, 1941 , from where he arrived on the Western Front in April 1942 .
In 1942 he was appointed company commander. In 1943 he graduated from advanced training courses for officers and fought on the Belorussian Front as a company commander, battalion, and a separate penal company.
In 1943 he was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky
In March 1945, in a battle near Danzig, he was seriously wounded in the head, spent several months in hospitals.
Since 1945 - in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR , successively commanded a company, a battalion.
Since 1958, after graduating from the KGB Military Institute under the USSR Council of Ministers, he successively held the following posts: regiment commander, division.
Until 1979, he headed the Ordzhonikidze Red Banner Military School of Internal Troops of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs named after S. M. Kirov .
In 1979, he was appointed first deputy chief of staff, and then first deputy commander of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs VV - chief of staff of the internal troops of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In 1982, he was on a business trip to Afghanistan , led a group of observers.
In 1986, he directed the actions of the MVD Ministry of Internal Affairs at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant , for which he was subsequently awarded the Order of Courage in 1995 .
Since 1990, retired, headed the veteran organization of the Main Command of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs VV.
He died on March 14, 2009, was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery.
