Biography
Born July 24 ( August 5 ), 1832 . The son of the adjutant general, the infantry general, the Moscow military governor-general Pavel Alekseevich Tuchkov .
From the pages of pages he was promoted to ensign of the Life Guards Preobrazhensky Regiment . He participated in the Sevastopol campaign , then in subduing the Polish rebellion of 1863 , for distinction he was awarded a golden saber with the inscription "For courage" . During the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878. Mikhail Pavlovich was a member of the field headquarters of the Danube Army; in the last years of his life he was a member of the State Suite. He took an active and active part in the establishment of the Moscow branch of the Imperial Russian Musical Society .
