Biography
He was born in the village of Garshino, now the district named after Gabit Musrepov of the North Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan .
In the 1920s, the family moved to the Aksay district of the Rostov region in the Shchepkin farm, then in the Bolshoy Log farm. The large family of Khrisanf Efimovich and Marina Yakovlevna Roy had thirteen children - ten sons and three daughters.
At the front of World War II since 1941 . Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1943 .
He freed from the Germans his village Aksayskaya, in which he lived after the war. Especially distinguished himself in the battles on the outskirts of the city of Gyor ( Hungary ). March 28, 1945 penetrated the enemy’s location and destroyed its firing points with grenades. Acting as part of a reconnaissance group, Roy, along with the fighters, captured 20 Nazis.
After the war he was demobilized. He lived in the city of Aksay, Rostov Region . He worked as a department head at a glass factory, then retired.
Awards and titles
- The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded on May 15, 1946 .
- He was awarded the Order of Lenin, two orders of the Patriotic War of 1 degree, the Order of the Red Star and medals, including “For the capture of Budapest”, “For the capture of Vienna” and “For the liberation of Prague” [2] .
- A.H. Roy is an honorary citizen of Aksay.
- In 2007, he received thanks from the Governor of the Rostov Region [3] .
- In 2010, he received congratulations from the Aksay local branch of the United Russia party [4] .
- Also awarded the Order of Ataman Platov (2012) [5] .
