Ivan Pavlovich Khrenov (born December 28, 1985 [1] [2] ) is a cardiologist who became famous after reporting cases in the hospital during a direct line with Vladimir Putin in 2010 .

Before the air

On December 16, 2010, during a direct broadcast with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin , Ivan Khrenov spoke about the situation in his hospital.
During Putin’s visit to the Ivanovo Regional Clinical Hospital, window dressing was arranged there. The equipment was brought from other hospitals, but after the visit it was dismantled and removed from the hospital. Nurses were ordered to say that their salary is 12 thousand rubles. Doctors received receipts of 30 thousand rubles. However, in reality, such high salaries did not exist [12] [13] [14] .
Earlier in the media it was already noted that the Prime Minister was "led along the" prepared "corridors and offices, and the departments where devastation reigned were carefully hidden." A few days after Putin’s visit to the hospital, Ivan Khrenov tried to reach him through the Internet by writing a letter to the Prime Minister. But this only happened during the live broadcast in December [1] .
Consequences
The next day, after a conversation with the Prime Minister, Putin phoned Khrenov and said that he wouldn’t give him an insult [11] . After that, in the Ivanovo hospital, checks of hospital equipment went. The Ivanovo authorities claimed that Khrenov did not work in the regional hospital, but was an employee of the local cardiology clinic. The denial of medical equipment at the regional hospital was also denied [15] . But there really was a mess with salaries, during the visit it was increased [11] . A federal commission was created, which did not find confirmation of Khrenov's words. However, several chief doctors were dismissed due to violations on their part in the expenditure of the wage fund [16] .
In January 2011, a lawsuit was filed in court against Ivan Khrenov [17] [18] from the leadership of the Ivanovo Regional Clinical Hospital and the Regional Oncology Center. Governor Mikhail Men then persuaded the hospital leadership to withdraw the lawsuit [14] . In the same year he was fired, as he was in the place of an employee who went on maternity leave. Then he again went to maternity work. He met Leonid Roshal and together with him created the National Medical Chamber (medical association) in Ivanovo [2] . For some time he intended to join the United Russia party [19] [16] , but he did not become a member of the party [2] [20] .
He works at the Mega Medical Center, [21] works as a fitness consultant at the Evolution Physical Health Center, together with his father and older brother Timofei, Timofei is the director of this fitness center. [four]

On August 29, 2015, Dr. Khrenov helped detain the culprit of the accident in the city of Ivanovo [22] .
