It is possible to rename audio files in a project before recording, using information from their tags . Closely integrated with the Amarok audio player and allows you to burn Audio CDs directly from it using the tag database.
In versions 2.0.3 and 17.04, an incorrect definition of the speed of recording Blu-ray discs was noticed. [3]
The write speeds of 1x 2x 3x optical discs show how many times the data transfer rate is higher than the reference
for CDs , the standard is 150Kb / s,
for DVD 1352 Kb / s,
for Blu-ray 4500 Kb / s
Actual speeds may vary slightly due to equipment features.
And so, if you take for comparison the speed that the Nero 17980 Kb / s program shows and divide it by 4, we get 4495 Kb / s, which fits into the error and is equal to the standard Blu-ray . But if we take the data from K3b 17035 Kb / s and divide by the specified factor 12.30, we get 1384 Kb / s, which, taking into account the errors, is equal to the DVD standard.
From the above, we conclude that K3b, when calculating the recording speed of Blu-ray discs, uses an incorrect standard and this is an oversight of the developers.
This should be taken into account otherwise the speed when recording Blu-ray will be much lower than the maximum possible.
It was found that the problem arose because of the growisofs module. [4] Starting from version 17.07.0, the bug is working. [five]
