In the field of taxation, the ministry controls the system of local and regional tax administrations. The regular tax office is called Urząd skarbowy (abbr. Pol .; literally “Treasury Office”), and the higher level of administration is called Izba skarbowa (“Treasury”). There are about 400 first in the entire country, and 16 last, one in each province (province). In each province, there is one more “Tax Office”
The Ministry of Finance is located next to the Ministry of Treasury, which is mainly responsible for managing national-state assets, as well as the Ministry of Economy.
