History
Dylan Baldi began writing music in 2009 to pass the time between classes at Case Western University Reserve [1] . The first songs under the name Cloud Nothings, including the ones that became famous on the Hey Cool Kid blogosphere (included in Turning On 2010 album), were recorded on a computer in the basement of Baldi's house in Westlake . The concert promoter, who invited Cloud Nothings to play a concert in New York in December 2009, persuaded Baldi to hastily assemble a real band and stop training in order to devote all his time to music.
The second album Cloud Nothings (self-titled 2011) Baldi recorded in Baltimore with producer Chester Gvazda [1] .
Attack on Memory's third album, produced by Steve Albini , was released on January 24, 2012. [2]
