Ernie is located 26 km northeast of Metz . Neighboring communes: Menwiller in the northeast, Mani in the east, Arrencourt and Bruhlange in the southeast, Forest and Chenois in the south, Bodrecourt and Saint Evre in the southwest, Adencourt in the west.
