Another

11 years ago, in 2008, a student named Misaki Yomiyama studied at a secondary school in Yomiyama City, in class 3-3. He was good at everything and loved by both classmates and teachers. When he died in an accident, the whole school mourned him. After his death, someone said that Misaki was alive, and taking this idea, the heartbroken class began to pretend that Misaki was still with them. It even got to the point that the headmaster left a dead place at the graduation ceremony. And then Misaki suddenly really appeared - on the graduation photo of the very class that so did not want to accept his death. And after this every month one of the students, as well as their relatives began to die, and people realized that they had incurred a curse by calling to the classroom someone who no longer exists. After trying various means, students and teachers found the opposite magic: to prevent deaths, it was necessary to ignore one of the living students, as if it didn’t exist, thereby freeing up space in the class for the dead man.

In the spring of 2012, due to the transfer of his father to India, the fifteen-year-old Koichi Sakakibara was forced to move to Yomiyama - the hometown of her late mother. There he is credited to class 3-3. However, due to pneumothorax, he was hospitalized immediately before the start of training. At the hospital, he meets his future classmate, Anya Misaki, a quiet, weird girl with a blindfold on her left eye. This year, she is the “nonexistent student” in the damned class. Koichi, not knowing anything about the curse, begins to communicate with Anya, not paying attention to too vague hints and omissions of his classmates, frightened by his behavior. Soon after, people in the class really begin to die. Trying to stop the curse , the students make a decision and make Koichi "non-existent", but this method does not give a result, and death continues.

Sakakibara Family

Koichi Sakakibara ( Japanese 榊 原 恒 一 Sakakibara Ko: ichi ) is a 15-year-old protagonist. He used to live in Tokyo, but due to a lung disease, he was forced to move to Yomiyama's town with his relatives. He first speaks with May, and later helps his classmates find the truth. Since he did not know about the curse and communicated with May Misaki, many of his classmates believe that it was he who was to blame for the curse again, although this is not so. In love with May Misaki. Temporarily became the second "non-existent", but then, after the death of the class teacher, he, like May, began to "exist" again.

Reiko Mikami ( Japanese 三 神 怜 子 Mikami Reiko ) is Aunt Koichi. Just like him and her sister, she studied in class 3-3 in 1983. Helps Koichi and other students find a way to stop the curse. Seiyu: Naoko Sakakibara

Ritsuko Sakakibara ( Jap. 榊 理 理 子 子 Sakakibara Ritsuko ) is Koichi's mother. She arrived in Yomiyama 15 years ago (in 1983) to give birth to Koichi, and died since her younger sister Reiko was in class 3-3 that year. She was a student of class 3-3 in 1972 and a classmate of Misaki Yomiyama.

Yosuke Sakakibara ( 榊 原 陽 介 介 Sakakibara Yo: suke ) is Koichi's father. Lecturer, currently working in India through an exchange of experience program. He regularly calls his son to chat and complain about the heat.

Tamie ( 民 江 Tamie ) is Koichi's maternal grandmother.

Ryohei ( 亮 平 Ryo: hei ) is Koichi's maternal grandfather.

Misaki Family

Mei Misaki ( 見 崎 鳴 Misaki Mei ) is the main character. On the left eye wears a blindfold, under which is hidden a green (in the novel and manga - blue) artificial, puppet eye, which her aunt inserted into her when May lost her eye at 4 years old. Thanks to him, May can see some special color, which marks the dead or those who are close to death. Koichi first meets her in the hospital elevator. But no one in the class knew about Misaki Fujioka’s death (and also that she and May were twins), and therefore they only learned about the onset of the disaster after Sakuragi’s death.

Seiyu: Hiromi Igarashi

Mitsuyu Fujioka ( Japanese 藤 岡 ミ ツ ヨ Fujioka Mitsuyou ) is Yukiyo's twin sister, Mei Misaki’s mother. When the sisters got married, she gave birth to twins, and the child Yukiyo died, because of which she almost went crazy. As a consolation, Mitsuyo gave her one of her own daughters, Mei (according to May, she was given because of her name, because if she gave her sister, her sister would be Misaki Misaki).

Yomiyama High School

Izumi Akazawa ( Japanese 赤 沢 泉 美 Akazawa Izumi ) is responsible for safety (countermeasures) in class 3-3. Strict, even severe, never smiles. He is a member of the drama club with Ayano and Ogura. Secretly in love with Koichi Sakakibaru. Shortly before her death, she recalls that she saw Koichi a year and a half ago, when he came to Yomiyama to the funeral of his aunt.

Naoya Tesigawara ( Japanese 勅使 河 原 直 直 Tesigawara Naoya ) is a classmate of Koichi. Cheerful and carefree guy, athlete. After listening to the tape left by Katsumi Matsunaga, he attacks Tomohiko Kazami, considering his behavior suspicious and mistaking him for a dead man. Likes to make fun of May and Koichi on a romantic theme. The nickname "Tesi", which many fell in love with, was given to him by Aya Ayano. In love with Izumi. Yumi Ogura ( Jap. 小 椋 美 美 Ogura Yumi ) is a classmate of Koichi. She was in a theater club. Manabu Mayajima ( Japanese 学 宮 島 Mayajima Manabu ) is a classmate of Koichi. In a wound, he dies during an assassin attack, while in a manga he dies in a fire. In the anime, he gets stabbed, but Koichi and others find him and take him out.

Shigaki Yonemura ( 茂樹 米 村 Yonemura Shigaki ) is a classmate of Koichi. The guy is not too tall, with brown eyes and short brown hair.

Sachiko Nakajima ( 幸 子 中 子 Nakajima Sachiko ) is a classmate of Koichi. Quiet, sweet girl.

Haruka Etou ( 江 藤 遥 This: Haru: ka ) is Koichi's classmate. A sweet, lively girl with short hair.

Another — 677-страничный роман писателя Юкито Аяцудзи. Роман не регулярно выпускался издательством Kadokawa Shoten в литературном журнале Yasei Jidai с августа 2006 по май 2009 года.
