D-10 - parachute parachute . The scientific research institute of parachute building was developed and adopted by the airborne forces in the late 90s .
Designed for parachute paratroopers of all specialties to perform combat and training jumps with full service armament and equipment at drop speeds from 140 to 400 km / h , with stabilization up to 3 seconds (with a parachute device AD-3UD ) and more (with a parachute device PPK- U ), in the range of heights from 200 to 4000 meters. It has 26 main lines, made of nylon cord ShKP-150 (of which 22 lines 4 m long and 4 lines attached to the hinges of the dome slots, 7 m long), 22 external additional lines 3 m long, and 24 internal additional lines from kapron cord ShKP-120, 4 m long. The D-10 parachute has a life span of 14 years, during which it can withstand from 80 to 120 applications depending on the total flight weight of the parachutist and the conditions of the jump.
Overall dimensions of the landing system laid in a satchel:
- height not more than 0.250 m;
- width not more than 0.320 m;
- length not more than 0.580 m.
The mass of the landing system without a portable bag and device is not more than 11.7 kg.
