2005 year

• Andrei Medvedev and Alexander Salnikov establish the PSM engineering group. The company is engaged in the adaptation and packaging of diesel power plants of Russian manufacturers.

2006 year

• "PSM" opens its own production. The first diesel generators based on Russian engines of Avtodiesel OJSC were launched .

2007 year

• PSM signed a cooperation agreement with the Swedish company Volvo Penta ^[4] .
• A range of ADV power plants based on Volvo Penta engines has been created .
• The first deliveries of PSM pumping units were carried out.

2008 year

• PSM products were first demonstrated to a wide audience at the Russian oil and gas exhibition in Moscow.

2011

• The first projects of federal significance were implemented: 84 power plants for the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia , 100 diesel pumping units for nuclear power plants in Russia.

year 2012

• A cooperation agreement has been signed with the South Korean corporation Doosan .
• The product line of PSM power plants has expanded with new series: ADP (with English Perkins engines), ADM (with German MTU engines) and ADDo (based on South Korean Doosan engines).
• PSM begins production of specialized equipment. The first samples are crimping devices for hydraulic tests ^[8] .
• The first PSM suppliers conference took place ^[9] .
• “PSM” entered into a cooperation agreement with the Government of the Yaroslavl region ^[10] .

year 2013

• PSM management formed the company's development strategy until 2017 ^[11] .
• A new direction has emerged in the structure of the company - the Department of Integrated Projects, representing PSM as an EPC contractor ^[12] .
• The production line of the new PSM metalworking plant in Tutaev was put into operation. The first production was released - metal hoods of improved design ^[13] .

year 2014

• The grand opening of the PSM metalworking plant in Tutaev took place ^[14] .
• An improved design of PSM containers and soundproof covers is presented. Metalwork launched into production ^[15] .
• The range of PSM diesel pumping units was replenished with DNUD models based on Doosan engines ^[16]

The company independently develops specialized machines and assemblies based on primary piston engines , adapts its own production models to customer requirements and acts as a developer of independent engineering solutions. Including PSM is the author of the following projects:

• EMMA - an aerodrome power plant based on a car chassis for pre-flight preparation of aircraft (jointly with Volvo Penta ) ^[17] ;
• AOMTs — mobile pressure testing centers for seasonal testing of heating mains, which make it possible to shorten periods of disconnection of hot water in houses ^[18] ;
• power supply system for an offshore drilling platform based on diesel generator sets with a thyristor converter and a drilling process control console ^[19] ;
• special equipment for the utilization of associated petroleum gas with its re-injection into the reservoir without the use of high-pressure compressors ^{[20] [21]} ;
• solutions for the modernization of river vessels of the technical fleet, dredgers and floating cranes ; ^[22]
• diesel drives for a mobile cementing complex ^[23]

In 2013, the company announced active promotion in the field of EPC-contract and the implementation of complex projects ^[24] . PSM will be involved in the development, construction and commissioning of autonomous energy complexes and pumping stations. In a May 14, 2013 press release, Andrei Medvedev, PSM CEO, commented on this step:

We consider engineering the only key that can “re-establish” Russian engineering. Advanced technologies should transform both the industry in which PSM operates and the attitude towards it in society. Creation of new complex products, special equipment and large-scale energy facilities - these are exactly the areas that we focus on.

PSM has two production sites in the Yaroslavl region .

The plant in the village of Krasny Bor produces power plants, pumping units, power drives, and special equipment. Located a kilometer from Yaroslavl . The total area of ​​production facilities is 10,000 m2, equipped storage facilities - 2,000 m2, indoor storage areas for finished products - 6,000 m2.

The metal processing plant “PSM” occupies 5000 m2 in the technopark “Master” in the city of Tutaev ( Yaroslavl Region ) ^[25] . The site provides the needs of the main production of the company in metal products. It produces frame structures, hoods, casings, containers, fuel tanks. Processing capacity - 500 tons of metal per month.

The serial range includes 4 types of products: diesel power plants, diesel pump units, power drives, and special equipment.

Power

They are used as the main, backup or emergency sources of energy supply in various sectors of the economy: energy, mining, construction, agriculture, transport, utilities.

Pumping units

They are used for pumping liquids, irrigation and fire fighting in agriculture, industrial and construction facilities, gold mining enterprises, and water and heat supply systems.

Power Drives

Designed to drive mechanisms and complete specialized equipment in drilling, oil and gas production, industry, construction, in the pipeline and well service sector.

Special equipment

It is produced on the basis of power plants and pumping units of the PSM brand. Special equipment is intended for narrow application mainly in the field of housing and communal services, construction, agriculture and the oil and gas complex.

Power Units

PSM has the ability to create independent energy systems based on gas reciprocating plants operating on the principle of cogeneration (receiving both electrical and thermal energy). The largest project in this area was announced by the company's management on October 29, 2013. PSM undertook to design, manufacture and build a mini-CHP for CJSC Vologda Bearing Plant ^[26] .

PSM products are sold in Russia and abroad through its own sales department and affiliate network.

About a third of PSM's customers are oil and gas companies: Gazprom , Rosneft ^[27] , TNK-BP , Novatek ^[28] , Transneft , Tatneft , Bashneft , Surgutneftegaz , Lukoil , KazMunayGas , Weatherford , and Eurasia Drilling Company .

According to the results of an independent research by Irbis CC, since 2009 the company has been one of the three largest Russian manufacturers of diesel power plants, and since 2010 it has won first place in the production of these products in Russia ^[40] .

In 2011, at the III International Salon “EXPO-1520”, the PSM project for the modernization of the three -diesel shunting diesel locomotive ChME3 was exhibited as “the most environmentally friendly in railway engineering” ^[41] .

On April 17, 2013, the online magazine Hopes & Fears included PSM CEO Andrei Medvedev in the list of “60 Most Interesting Businessmen Who Created Their Business from the Ground Up” ^[45] .

On July 1, 2013, according to Forbes , Andrei Medvedev was included in the "Nine Russian Entrepreneurs who, by 33 years old, have created a successful business" ^[46] .

On December 26, 2013 PSM founder Andrei Medvedev won the Future Legends contest between RBC and Ford . Of the 125 candidates, the organizers chose the one who built his own business using a non-standard approach, natural energy and breakthrough thinking. The prize was 1,000,000 rubles for business development ^[47] .

On November 12, 2014, according to the Village magazine, Andrei Medvedev took 18th place in the ranking of young and successful entrepreneurs in Russia ^[48] .

The magazine "General Director" included Andrei Medvedev in the top 250 best General Directors of Russia ^[49] .

In 2010, PSM initiated the creation of the PSM-TEAM80 motorsport team ^[50] .

The team participates in the races of the Championship of Russia and the Cup of Russia in automobile ring races Russian Racing Championship . Two advanced LADA Kalina R2B perform in the touring light category. LADA Priora S2000 with a 1.6 turbo engine is announced in a more powerful class "touring".

In 2012 PSM TEAM80 held 8 stages and 25 championship races. In total, the pilots climbed the prize podium 11 times ^[51] . At the end of the season, the team became the champion of Russia in the category of touring light ^[52] . PSM TEAM80 pilots took hold of the first five in the individual classification: Alexander Salnikov ^[53] took 5th place, Vasily Mezentsev ^[54] - second.

The company acts as the general sponsor of the Yaroslavl open motocross championship ^[55] and allocates money for the development of the Nadezhda children's educational theater ^[56] .

In April 2013, PSM sponsored one of the MINI Black Sea Car Challenge teams - the European rally of mini-coopers ^[57] .

PSM is a member of the Russian Engineering Union , the Union of Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturers , the Russian Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers (ROSAGROMASH), the Yaroslavl Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YarTPP), and the Economic Council of the Yaroslavl Region .
