Das Racist is a music band from Brooklyn, New York, performing alternative hip-hop . The composition includes two emsey : Himanshu Suri (Heems) and Victor Vazquez (Kool AD) - and hipman Ashok Kondabolu (Dap) [1] . The group is known for using humor, comments on public life, references to pop culture and non-traditional style in its texts [2] ; her music was ignored, considering it a comic rap, and was called a new, relevant voice in rap [3] .

Having gained fame on the Internet thanks to the 2008 song “Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell”, Das Racist established themselves as compelling rappers with Shut Up, Dude and Sit Down, Man mixtapes released in 2010 [4] [5] [6] . Spin magazine included the group among the 50 artists that you need to pay attention to during the 2010 SXSW festival [7] . Rolling Stone recognized the song “hahahaha jk?” From Sit Down, Man as one of the top 50 of the year. [8]
In September 2011, the debut studio album Relax [2] was released , taking 12th place on the American rap album sales chart [9] . In the same year, the group appeared on the cover of the November, "funny" issue of Spin magazine , which also published an article about Das Racist, written by Dap's brother, comedian Hari Kondabolu [10] .
