Biography

Catholic religion. From the nobility of St. Petersburg province .

From chamber pages, he was promoted to cornet of the Life Guards Cavalry Regiment , and on March 30, 1852, on assignments . The following year he was awarded the Swedish Order of the Vase of Cavalry Services, and for his work on the 3rd Moscow Equestrian Exhibition on September 30, he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 3rd degree.

On August 1, 1873, he was assigned to the Main Directorate of the State Horse Breeding Department with the assignment of the responsibility for secretary and editorial units to it. April 15, 1874 he was promoted to full state councilors ; On August 1, he was allowed to accept the Austrian Order of Franz Joseph 2nd degree with a star, on December 12 he was dismissed at his own request from the post of correspondent for the Pskov province.

On April 17, 1877 he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav of the 1st degree, the next year on November 29 he was allowed to accept the commanding badge of the Legion of Honor, on April 7, 1880 he was awarded the Order of St. Anna of the 1st degree. On October 13, 1880, he was approved as an indispensable Member of the Veterinary Committee, and on December 22 he was appointed Director of the Office of the Main Directorate of the State Horse Breeding. At a meeting of the Council of the Kazan Veterinary Institute, and on January 29, 1882, he was unanimously elected an Honorary Member of this institute. On May 15, 1883 he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 2nd degree and on the same day he was granted a lease for six years, at 1200 rubles annually.
