Don Martin ( born Dawn Martin , born 1976 in Dundalk , Ireland ) is an Irish singer and a representative of Ireland at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest .

Born in the city of Dundalk in the north of Ireland. Since childhood, she performed in a children's choir and school events. After leaving school, she got a job as a hairdresser , but after that she continued her performances in various leisure institutions. [1] Subsequently, becoming a member of the pop group A Good Choice, she often appeared on the radio. On one of these airs, she was heard by producer Jerry Morgan, who, having contacted the singer, suggested that she perform at the national qualifying round for the Eurovision song contest. [1] Martin, who won the selection, went to represent her country in a competition in Birmingham with the song “Is always over now?” The performer finished ninth with 64 points. [2]
In 2011, Don Martin performed at Eurobash at the Panti Bar in Dublin with a new version of the concert track. [3]
