Until December 29, 2009, it was the center of the liquidated Gribovetsky village council.

It is located 60 km from Mogilev .
History
First mentioned in 1729 . In 1884, a village (21 courtyards, 100 inhabitants) in the Chigirinsky volost of the Bykhov district of the Mogilev province. In 1908 - 42 yards. 150 men, 151 women.
As of January 1, 2017, there were 55 households in the village, in which 122 residents lived.
