General-Oberst (Generaloberst) - a rank in the armed forces of the Austro-Hungarian Empire .
In the armed forces of Austria-Hungary during the First World War (1915-1918), the rank of Oberst General ( Colonel General ) was the highest general rank. It was introduced in 1915, followed by the rank of Field Marshal .
The Austrian Armed Forces do not have the title Oberst General . The equivalent in the troops and forces of the Russian Federation is the army general .
