Biography

The son of Lieutenant Colonel Fyodor Grigorievich Zubkovsky. Educated in the Polotsk military gymnasium. He entered the service on August 10, 1873. He graduated from the 2nd military school of Konstantinovsky. Released by second lieutenant (08/04/1875). He was transferred to the Life Guards Volyn Regiment with the rank of Ensign of the Guard (08/04/1875). Second Lieutenant (03/27/1877). Lieutenant (08/30/1877). Headquarters-Captain of the Guard (08.30.1882). Renamed captains arm. (08/30/1888). Educator of the Polotsk cadet corps (03.22.1884-17.08.1886). Educator of the Alexander Cadet Corps (08.17.1886 - 10.26.1887). Lieutenant Colonel (08.30.1886). Assistant to the chief guard of the Sino-Eastern Railway (01/01/1898 - 07/21/1901). Colonel (07/10/1889).

Member of the campaign in China 1900-1901. The commander of the brigade of the Zaamursky District of the Separate Corps of the Border Guard (07/21/1901 - 07/31/1902). Commander of the 54th Minsk Infantry Regiment (07/31/1902 - 06/19/1905). Member of the Russian-Japanese war of 1904-1905. Major General (06/19/1905; for distinction). Commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 1st Infantry Division (from 19.06.1905). Commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 14th Infantry Division (03/14/1906 - 01/05/1909). Commander of the 1st Brigade of the 14th Infantry Division (from 05.01.1909).

Member of the First World War. Commander of the 63rd Infantry Division (07/19/1914 - 03/03/1915). Lieutenant General (02/03/1915). Head of the 63rd Infantry Division (02/03/1915 - 04/18/1915). He was in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Dvinsky Military District (April 18 - October 8, 1915). He died of illness in the 2nd consolidated field hospital in Vitebsk . He was buried on October 19, 1915 in the crypt of the regimental church of the 54th Minsk Infantry Regiment, in Chisinau .
