Speedwell ( Speedwell Island , Spanish Isla Águila ) - an island in the Falkland Islands archipelago, located in the southern Atlantic Ocean. Located in the Strait of Falkland , off the southwest coast of East Falkland Island, north of George Island.

Geography, nature
The area is 51.5 km². It stretches for about 17.5 km from north to south and 5 km from west to east (in the widest central part).
Numerous seabirds nest on the island, as well as several species of penguins including Magellanic Penguin . The territory of Speedwell has been used as a pasture for the past few centuries [2] .
