Biography

Daut Yultiy [3] was born on April 6 (April 18, according to a new style) in 1893 in the village of Katay near the Tok River, which was not far from the village of Yulti (currently the village of Yulti in the Krasnogvardeisky district of the Orenbus region) [1] in a poor peasant family. He studied at the madrasah of his native village and at the Sorochinsky madrasah. He worked as a teacher in the village of Yulta. After this school will be renamed in the middle of the 20th century and named after the writer. In this school to them. Dauta Yultiya is a museum named after him with books by this writer, folk costumes, as well as a bed on which the writer was sleeping as a child.

He participated in the First World War and the Civil War (on the side of the Reds).

Until 1920, he was the military commissar and secretary of the Tok-Suran canton committee of the RCP (b).

Since 1921, Daut Yulti worked as an editor of the newspaper Bashkortostan . At the end of 1921 he was elected a delegate to the All-Russian IX Congress of Soviets, met and talked with V. I. Lenin .

In 1926 he graduated from the Institute of Red Professors . He worked in the structure of the CPSU (b) , also actively engaged in literary, journalistic and publishing activities.

In the 30s. He was the editor of the magazine "October" (now "Agidel" ), participated in the organization of the Writers' Union of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .

He was repressed as a Bashkir bourgeois nationalist in 1937 , and executed on July 10, 1938 in Ufa. Rehabilitated in 1956 .

Creativity

Yulty wrote his first works in 1908 . In Soviet times, he wrote propaganda and journalistic texts. Among them are the poems "Mysar" and "Aikhilu" about workers and peasants; poems "On Lenin", "Sobbing", dedicated to V. I. Lenin . Yalta’s prose is represented by the historical and revolutionary novel “Blood” (“Kan”), the drama “Karagul”, and the plays “Kolanses” and “Salavat”.

Memory

In 1978, in Ufa, on Lenin Street 2, a memorial plaque dedicated to Daut Iskhakovich Yultiev was opened.

In the Ordzhonikidze district of Ufa, the street is named after Daut Yultiy.
