Wailua - a waterfall located on the Wailua River on the island of Kauai , part of the Hawaiian archipelago . It has two main jets and a height of 24 meters.

There is a descent to the place where the waterfall falls, which, however, is slippery, dirty and life-threatening. Some tourists pull ropes along the path, but local officials cut them off each time. In ancient times, Hawaiians jumped from the top of a waterfall to prove their courage. Not far away there is another waterfall called Opaekaa .
Wailua Waterfall is featured in the opening credits of the American television series Fantasy Island .
