Lenin Street (Novokuznetsk)

Previously called Bazarny lane or st. Trading. In 1920, received the name of V.I. Lenin

Lenin Street stretches from Sovetskaya Square to the Low-Rise Building. Tram tracks run along the entire street. The street was built up in 1930-1950.

The street starts from the ring of Sovetskaya Square. On the left are five-story houses in which there are shops: "Kopeyka", "Chistogorsky", "Watercolor", "Middle"; on the right is the "TC District". Gradually, we are approaching the main square of Kuznetsk, the square of the Soviets. On the left is the Alyuminshchikov Palace of Culture, on the right is the Administration of the Kuznetsk District and the registry office. On the square is the famous "clock tower".
