The complex is located in the center of Grozny on Mayakovsky Street. The memorial includes a museum, a park, a number of monuments. The memorial has an area of ​​5 hectares, is the third largest object in Russia, built in memory of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. History

The construction of the memorial complex began in October 2009 [2] and lasted about 6 months. The grand opening of the complex took place on the eve of the 65th anniversary of Victory on May 8, 2010 [3] .

Museum

The central place of the memorial complex is occupied by the two-level building of the Museum of Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov . The museum can compete with famous monuments of world architecture in the wealth and beauty of the interior. Marble for creating an art panel in the central hall of the museum was brought from Spain, a chandelier covered with gold of the highest standard-999 was brought from Iran. Around the memorial complex is a park - Walk of Fame . The park is fully landscaped - the tracks are tiled, lanterns (floor lamps) and benches are installed, flowerbeds are broken, and automatic watering systems for lawns and plants are installed.

Monuments

Eternal Flame of Glory

The eternal flame of Glory was lit by the President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of Russia in the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin .

The second level of the building will be crowned by a glass dome, in front of which the Eternal Flame will be located.

Monument to Movlid Visaitov

In February 2005, the Government of the Chechen Republic announced a competition for sculptural composition, the central part of which should be an equestrian monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union Movlid Visaitov , who commanded a cavalry regiment during the Great Patriotic War and was the first Soviet officer to shake hands with representatives of allied forces on the Elbe River in 1945 [10] .

The memorial is equipped with two screens broadcasting videos about the memorial.

Stele

A 39-meter stele tower will be installed above the central part of the Memorial complex.

Bas-reliefs depicting Heroes of the USSR natives of Chechen-Ingushetia

The museum building houses 40 portrait bas-reliefs of the Heroes of the USSR - immigrants from the Chechen Republic.

Monument to Matash Mazaev and WWII tankers

Opened May 9, 2012. The tank was donated by the Council of Veterans of the Krasnodar Territory [12] [13] .
