Biography

At the age of three years, Anna's parents — Olga Ostroukhova and Mikhail Nikolayevich Ostroukhov — gave their daughter to figure skating , where Anna was engaged for up to seven years, after which the only ice palace at that time in the city of Rostov-on-Don was closed.

Anna Ostroukhova began to practice basketball at the age of ten in the Rostov sports school of sports school -7.

Tatyana Aleksandrovna Troitskaya became Anna’s first coach.

At sixteen, Anna went to Samara to play for the VBM-SGAU DYBL.

In 2007 she returned to Rostov-on-Don to the Rostov-Don team, but already in 2008 she was offered a contract with the Ekaterinburg club UMMC . From 2008 to 2010 she played for UMMC-Junior.

In 2010, she became European Champion in basketball among youth teams (under 20) .

Since 2010, Anna Ostroukhova has appeared in the women's Premier League for the UMMC club Ekaterinburg , with whom she became the champion of Russia for the 2010–2011 season and the bronze medalist of the FIBA Euroleague 2011.
