Biography
Mikhail Lazarevich Fainberg studied at the Leningrad Institute of Civil Engineering ( LISI ) since 1939. From July 1, 1941 to 1945, he fought at the front, as a senior sergeant in the military construction detachment. Member of the battles near Moscow , Rzhev , Stalingrad . He was shell-shocked. He graduated from LISI in 1948. He designed residential and public buildings in many cities of the USSR, destroyed during the war. In addition, he was the author of sanatoriums, rest homes and pioneer camps.

- Projects for the restoration of the city of Gomel , from the summer of 1945
- Dormitory on Novorossiyskaya street (together with V.V. Gorbachev)
- Sanatorium "Labor reserves" (together with V.V. Gorbachev)
- Reconstruction of the houses of culture named after the First Five-Year Plan and the name of Gaza and Dynamo Stadium (together with V.V. Gorbachev)
- Hotel "Caucasus" in Sochi (together with V.V. Gorbachev)
- Health complex "Nebug" near Tuapse (together with I.P. Shmelev and V. B. Fabritsky)
- Pioneer camps: “Kabardinka” and “Eaglet” (1960s) near Gelendzhik and “Young Guard” at the northern entrance to Odessa
