Career
Kuusisto made his debut in the World Cup in 1990 , in the same year he first hit the top ten at the World Cup stage. In total, in personal races he has in his account 3 hits in the top ten at the stages of the World Cup. Kuusisto's best achievement in the overall World Cup standings is 36th in the 1991/92 season.
At the 1992 Olympic Games in Albertville , he won bronze in the relay, in addition, he took 26th place in the 30 km race with classics and 23rd place in the 50 km race with skate.
During his career he took part in one world championship , at the 1991 world championship in Val di Fiemme he won bronze in the relay race, in addition, he was 19th in the 10 km classic and 24th in the 30 km classic.
