A nano-object (the English nano-object or nano scale object ) is the discrete part of matter or, conversely, its local absence (voids, pore ), the size of which is in the nanoscale at least in one dimension (usually 1-100 nm ).
Description
Nanoobjects can be classified as objects that have clear spatial boundaries and are accessible for direct observation by electron and probe scanning microscopy ( nanoparticles , nanoplates , nanotubes , nanopores ), and other nanoscale objects, the size of which is often determined by indirect methods (aggregates, liposomes , membranes , nanodroplets, etc.).
