 Parent family of Alexander Abdulov

Alexander Gavriilovich Abdulov was born on May 29, 1953 in the city of Tobolsk of the Tyumen Region in a theatrical family [8] .

His father, Gavriil Danilovich Abdulov (March 25 (April 7) 1908 - February 24, 1980) [9] , the last two years was a director at a local theater, moving there from Ferghana .

Mother - Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Krainova ( 10/ 06/1920–10.2017) [10] . In 1956, the family returned to Ferghana [11] .

He was born in Tobolsk, dad is a theater director, and his mother is a make-up artist. Alexander was the third son in the family. In the hospital, the roommate of the mother of Abdulov - Lyudmila Alexandrovna gave birth to a third girl. Women conspired to exchange children. “Just in case,” Lyudmila Aleksandrovna decided to wait until the evening when her husband came to visit her to consult with him. The husband shouted: "Have you lost your mind ?!"

- [12]

Alexander Abdulov was the youngest son, he had two older brothers: a single- mother (from his mother’s first marriage) Robert Krainov (1940 - December 4, 2011) and Vladimir Abdulov (1947-1980; killed by hooligans) [13] . There was a half-brother Yuri Abdulov (1932-2007), after the war, Abdulov’s father was informed that his first wife and son were missing, so he married a second time [14] .

For the first time, Alexander Abdulov appeared on the stage at the age of five in the performance “Kremlin Chimes” of the Ferghana Drama Theater [15] .

However, he did not aspire to an acting career - he was engaged in sports at school, received the title of candidate for master of sports of the USSR in fencing [16] , was fond of music.

He learned to play the guitar on his own and was constantly in the spotlight of the yard children: he plays the strings, sings - they listen. And imagine, he himself did the guitars - in a theater workshop. He drew a sketch and sawed it out of plywood ... He knew how to do everything, organize everything and has always been such an entertainer.

- [17]

After leaving school, Alexander, at the insistence of his father, tried to enter the theater school named after Shchepkin , but unsuccessfully. Returning from Moscow, he entered the Faculty of Physical Education of the Ferghana State Pedagogical Institute [18] . At the same time, he worked in the theater with his father as a stage worker [15] . A year later, Alexander Abdulov entered GITIS , the course of I. M. Raevsky .

Theater Work

In 1975 [19], the main director of the Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theater ( Lenkom ) Mark Zakharov invited Alexander Abdulov to the troupe, noting his play in the graduation performance. Abdulov was offered the main role of Lieutenant Pluzhnikov in the play based on the novel by B. L. Vasiliev “ Not Listed ”. For this role, he was awarded the Theater Spring prize [20] .

Since then, all of Abdulov’s further theatrical career has been inextricably linked with Lenkom . Among his most famous theatrical works is his role in the famous Lenkomovsky play Juno and Avos . For his role in the play “The Barbarian and the Heretic” (based on Dostoevsky’s novel “ The Player ”), he was awarded the Crystal Turandot , the prize of the K. S. Stanislavsky Foundation, and was also awarded a diploma from the International Theater Fund named after E. Leonov [18] .

In 1993, Alexander Abdulov organized and led the Zadvorki festival, the bulk of the proceeds from which went to charity. For example, the forces of Alexander Abdulov and the staff of the Lenkom Theater, as well as famous pop artists and rock musicians invited to the festival, restored and handed over to the Russian Orthodox Church the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Putinki , which is located next to the Lenkom Theater [20] .

Movie Jobs

Since the early 1970s, Abdulov began acting in films. His debut took place in 1974, when he, while still a student, played a cameo role of the marine Kozlov in the film “ About Vitya, about Masha and the Marine Corps ” by Mikhail Ptashuk . In total, he starred in 112 films.

Alexander Abdulov came to fame only after the role of the Bear in the television film “ Ordinary Miracle ” (1978), directed by Mark Zakharov based on the play of the same name by Eugene Schwartz . The new success was the melodrama of Pavel Arsenov based on the play by Alexander Volodin “ Do not part with your loved ones ” (1979), in which Abdulov played the main male role - Mitya, and his wife Irina Alferova played the main female role.

Among his most famous acting works are Nikita in Tatiana Lioznova ’s Carnival , Robert from the eccentric detective Alla Surikova “ Look for a Woman ”, and the lyrical hero Ivan from “ Sorcerers ”. An artist of a wide creative range, Alexander Abdulov starred in comedies (“ The Most Charming and Attractive ”, “ For Beautiful Ladies! ”, “ Formula of Love ”, “ The Same Munchausen ”); in dramas (“ Save me, my talisman ” and “ Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk Uyezd ” by Roman Balayan , “ Over the Dark Water ” by Dmitry Meskhiev ), in crime-adventure (“ Secrets of Madame Wong ”) and detective films (“ Ten Little Indians ” by Stanislav Govorukhin ), in historical costume tapes (“ Midshipmen, forward! ” Svetlana Druzhinina ). Good physical fitness allowed Abdulov to do without understudies in almost all films. At one of the film festivals, he was awarded the prize as the best stunt performer in the movie " Kill the Dragon " (1988) [18] .

The most successful acting work of Alexander Abdulov was associated with the films of Mark Zakharov and with paintings by Sergei Solovyov , which became a notable event in the 1980-1990s. In 1991, Abdulov’s collaboration with director Viktor Sergeyev began , and their first film, the rogue detective “ Genius, ” turned out to be one of the most interesting films of those years and became one of the leaders in video distribution of domestic films; the criminal melodrama “ Strange Men of Semenova Ekaterina ” did not go unnoticed, where Natalya Fisson and Andrei Sokolov starred with Alexander Abdulov. But another film by Victor Sergeyev - “ Schizophrenia ”, released in 1997, for which Abdulov himself wrote the script, and the consultant was Alexander Korzhakov , did not become a discovery, as was the case with “Genius”.

The undisputed success in the creative biography of the actor was the role of Koroviev in the 2005 television series “ Master and Margarita ” by Vladimir Bortko .

With the direct participation of Alexander Gavrilovich, the Moscow International Film Festival was revived, the general director of which was Abdulov for several years, beginning in 1995 [20] [21] .

Television work

In 1998, together with his ex-wife Irina Alferova, he conducted several of the first releases of the music contest “Stars of the XXI Century” on RTR [22] .

In 2004, he was co-host of Ksenia Nazarova in the TV game " Natural Selection " on the REN-TV channel [23] .

Hobbies

He was a fan of the Moscow football club Spartak [25] .

Sickness and death

At the end of August 2007, Abdulov was operated on in a Sevastopol clinic for a perforated ulcer . A few hours after the operation, he began to have serious heart problems . He spent six days in intensive care , after which he was sent to the Bakulev Moscow Cardiocenter . The flight negatively affected the body. Three days later, a sharp deterioration occurred [26] . In early September, Abdulov arrived in Israel, where he was diagnosed with a fourth (incurable) stage of lung cancer in the Ichilov Clinic [27] [28] . Both Israeli and Russian doctors have come to the conclusion that lung cancer has arisen due to long-term smoking [29] .

He died on January 3, 2008 at 7:20 Moscow time at the Bakulev Center for Cardiovascular Surgery at the 55th year of his life [26] . On January 5, a memorial service and farewell to Abdulov took place at the Lenkom Theater . The funeral service was held at the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Putinki on Malaya Dmitrovka .
