Bust of Salavat Yulaev

The bust of Salavat Yulaev by the sculptor, People's Artist of the BASSR, Tamara Pavlovna Nechaeva ^{[1] was} first opened on October 23, 1955 in the Salavat Yulaev park in Salavat. At the foot of the monument was a flower garden. A massive cast-iron fence was installed around the monument.

T.P. Nechaeva many times, since 1945 , turned to the image of Salavat. She embodied it now in bronze, then in plaster, then in china, each time revealing in it more and more new features.

The national features of the image of Salavat were helped to convey to the sculptor by the characteristic face of the artist Arslan Mubaryakov , over the sculptural portrait of which the artist also worked at that time. The similarities between the faces of Salavat and Arslan are easily guessed. ^{[2] [3]}

In 2004, the bust was transferred to Salavat Yulaev Boulevard. The pedestal was replaced by a higher one ^[4] .

The monument is a bust of Salavat Yulaev. The monument is made of bronze. The pedestal is made of reinforced concrete, painted white.

The inscription on the monument is "Salavat Yulaev."

On the pedestals of the monument in the park there was a bas-relief with a scroll and pens, a saber and a bow, indicating that Salavat was a warrior and poet.

• The monument is the first in the city of Salavat and especially revered, as it was erected to the national hero of Bashkortostan Salavat Yulaev, whose name is named after the city.
• Several sculptures were made. In 1952, 3 bronze images were cast using a plaster model. In the same year, two of them were installed in Ufa (July 25, 1952) ^[5] and in the homeland of the batyr in the Salavat district of Bashkiria. The third monument in 1955 was opened in the city of Salavat in a park on Pushkin Street. Board plaster busts were released.

The Nechaevsky monument of Salavat is very popular in the hero’s native places. In addition to Maloyaz - the district center of the Salavat region - a copy of it is available in the village. Yulaevo, and in 1998 on the territory of the resort "Yangantau" a bust of the hero was installed, which was previously in the garden named after Salavat in Ufa ^[6] .
