History

Both military units were formed on the Volkhov front in January 1942, first the 100th division was formed, then the 100th "A" division was separated from it.

As part of the army:

  • From January 29, 1942 to July 25, 1942 - the 100th separate anti-aircraft artillery division;
  • From January 25, 1942 to September 1, 1942 - the 100th "A" separate anti-aircraft artillery battalion;

From the end of January 1942, both divisions covered parts of the Volkhov front that conducted the Luban operation and until May 1942 covered the crossings at Meat Bor and the bridgehead.

From May 1942, the 100th separate anti-aircraft artillery division was transferred to the 2nd Shock Army and died in the Luban cauldron. From July 25, 1942 it was excluded from the army list, although as of August 1, 1942 it is listed as part of the Volkhov front.

The 100th "A" separate anti-aircraft artillery division continues to cover parts of the front until September 1, 1942, when it was disbanded.
