History
Until 2015, the canton included the communes:
Araven , Beauvoir-Wavan , Bonnier , Beauffle , Buber-sur-Cansch , Bure-sur-Cansch , Buir-a-Bois , Vaqury-le- Buch , Ville-l'Opital , Viyancourt , Vaud , Jenn-Iverni , Cantelle , Khe-O-Menius , Konshi-sur-Kansh , Le Ponchelle , Ligny-sur-Kansh , Monschelles-sur-Kansh , Neu-les-Osi , Obromets , Osi-le-Chateau , Rougefe , Tollan , Fontaine-l ' Standard , Fortel-en-Artois , Frevan .
As a result of the 2015 reform [1], the composition of the canton was changed: it included the abolished cantons of Campaign-le-Eden , Le-Park and Eden .

Policy
In the 2017 presidential election, the canton residents cast in the 1st round of Marine Le Pen 30.1% of the vote against 20.0% of Emmanuel Macron , 19.7% of Francois Fillon and 16.0% of Jean-Luc Melanson ; in the 2nd round, Macron won the canton, receiving 52.0% of the vote. (2012 1st round: Francois Hollande - 29.8%, Nicolas Sarkozy - 27.4%, Marine Le Pen - 21.3%; 2nd round: Hollande - 52.4%).
Since 2015, the canton has been represented on the Council of the Department of Pas-de-Calais by Florence Barbry, member of the Council of the Osie le Château commune , and Robert Therry, both of which are different right-wingers .
