History
The founding congress of the People's Socialist Party of Moldova was held on October 29, 2011 . NSPM has about 4 thousand people, including nine former deputies, among them Nicolae Andronic and Nicolae Bondarchuk. The party congress was attended by 250 delegates from 24 regions of Moldova .
On April 6, 2012, the People’s Socialist Party of Moldova and the Social Democratic Party of Moldova signed a declaration on the creation of the Union of Left Forces bloc, which sets as its strategic goal the socio-economic and political modernization of the Republic of Moldova, and to become the leading political party before the next parliamentary elections by the power of the country. The action program of the Union of Left Forces is based on 10 main priorities, which were approved by the leadership of both parties.
Party Objectives
The People’s Socialist Party of Moldova will make every effort to strengthen Moldovan statehood, protect Moldovan national identity, educate the young generation in the spirit of patriotism and interethnic tolerance, respect for the history , culture , family and religious values of the Moldavian multi-ethnic people. The People’s Socialist Party of Moldova stands for the neutrality, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, for an active foreign policy based on the country's national interests - a strategy of peace, good neighborliness, and mutually beneficial cooperation on the European continent .
