Mine " Dawn " - a coal mining enterprise. It is located on the territory of the Snezhnyansky city council of Donetsk region . It was part of the State Enterprise “Snezhnoeanthracit”, since 2017 - “Torezanthracite”. Coals of grade A are mined - anthracite .
It was commissioned in 1927. In 1972, reconstruction was carried out, as a result of which the mine capacity increased from 500 to 910 thousand tons. As of 2006, the installed production capacity of the mine was 460 thousand tons of coal per year.
There are 4 coal seams on the balance sheet of the mine: two seams (Goldshteinovsky and Kashcheevsky) are under development, reserves of the Fominskaya layer have been depleted, and the Usovsky layer in the future. The total length of the workings is 61 kilometers. The size of the mine fields reaches 1,200-2,200 meters in strike and 8050 meters in fall.
The source of power supply is the Shterovskaya state district power station , the sources of water supply are the Yanovskoye and Grabovsky reservoirs.
