Career
He started figure skating at the age of 4 years. The first partner in ice dancing was Alina Saprykina.
Their couple with Alisa Agafonova was considered one of the most promising Ukrainian dance duets. The couple twice in a row participated in the finals of the Junior Grand Prix and was the country's champion at his age, repeatedly participated in the world championships among juniors . However, in the middle of the season 2009-2010, after an unsuccessful performance at the Grand Prix stage in Istanbul and a miss in the final, the couple broke up [2] .
Dmitry Dun tried to slip with the Canadian skater Terra Findlay , but in the 2010–2011 season they didn’t perform anywhere, and in the 2011–2012 season he paired up with the American Shivon Hikin-Kennedy (Shivon had previously represented Ukraine in the international arena), a previous partner which ended his career.
