History

The creation of the “Belarusian Economic Journal” in 1997 was aimed at developing the national scientific school of Belarus.

Since its inception, the publication has participated in many projects of UNDP (United Nations Development Program), which helped strengthen its reputation as one of the leading scientific and practical publications in Belarus. As soon as it became possible to expand dialogue and conduct various events under the auspices of the magazine, their own projects began to be created.

The UN Development Programs (UNDP) and the Government of the Republic of Belarus in March 2003 [2] launched the project “Development of dialogue on the most important areas of socio-economic policy in the framework of the Belarusian Economic Journal.” The Belarusian State Economic University was appointed as the project executor. Around the same time The journal’s site [3] was opened, located in a subdomain of the Belarusian State Economic University website.
