Strukova, Tatyana Georgievna

In 1975, she graduated from the English department of the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology of Voronezh State University with a degree in philology, teacher of English and literature. From 1977 to 1980 She studied at the graduate school of Kalinin (now Tver) University with a degree in Literature. Candidate dissertation " Mary Shelley - novelist" defended in 1980 in Moscow N.K. Krupskaya (supervisor Prof. N.A. Gulyaev). In his doctoral dissertation “The genre of a sea novel and its modifications in English literature of the 19th-20th centuries” (1999, Moscow State University), the concept of the origin and evolution of the sea romance genre in literature for two centuries is developed.

The circle of scientific interests consists of problems of genrology, poetics of the 20th century novel, popular fiction, the implementation of everyday life in literature, issues of national identity , and theory of literature.
