Zeype ( Dutch: Zijpe ) is a city and community in the Dutch province of North Holland . Located north of Amsterdam . The area of the community is 113.35 km², of which 95.17 km² is land. The population as of January 1, 2007 is 11 565 people. The average population density is 102.2 people / km².

In 2013, the Zeype community was merged with the communities of Schagen and Harenkarspel . Together they formed a new community called Schagen.
The following settlements are located in the community: Burgervlotbrug, Callantson, Grote-Keten, Audesleis, Petten, Schagerbrook, Sint-Martensbruck, Sint-Martensvlotbruck, t'Zand.
