Biography
Born in Athens in 1943, graduated from the National Technical University in 1969.
Master (1971) and Ph.D. (1975) Carnegie Mellon University . He taught at Brown (1973-77), Pennsylvania (1977-92; professor since 1983) and California universities since 1992).
Married since 1965, has a daughter.
Scientific Achievements
Investigated the relationship between education and economic growth [1] . Author of the theory of implicit contract or self-enforcing agreements [2]
