History
Bank of South Sudan was established in 2006 as a regional branch of the Bank of Sudan . After the independence of South Sudan was declared, on July 9, 2011, the bank began to act as a central bank. The Law on the Bank of South Sudan was signed on July 15, 2011 [1] .
