Cheyenne River ( Eng. Cheyenne River Indian Reservation ) - An Indian reservation located in the state of South Dakota , USA .

Cheyenne River is the fourth largest Native American reservation in the United States . It covers an area of ​​11 051, 447 km² or 4.267 thousand square miles. The reservation covers almost all of Dewey and Siebach counties . In addition, the Cheyenne River includes part of Stanley , Mead and Haakon counties.

Representatives of four Lakota tribes live on the reservation: the Minnekongju , Itazipcho , Sihasapa and Oochenunpa . According to the 2000 census, the population of the reservation was 8470 people.
