Sinkov, Anatoly Ivanovich (1915)

Anatoly Ivanovich Sinkov (April 23, 1915 - the first half of the 1980s) - Lieutenant of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army , participant in the Great Patriotic and Soviet-Japanese Wars , Hero of the Soviet Union (1944), deprived of all ranks and awards in connection with the conviction [1 ] .

Biography

Anatoly Sinkov was born on April 23, 1915 in the city of Gatchina (now the Leningrad Region ). In 1931 he graduated from the Mechanical College in Rzhev . In June 1932 he was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army, until October 1939 he served as an aviation technician in combat units of the air forces in the Kharkov Military District . In September 1941, Sinkov graduated from the military aviation school of pilots in Balashov , after which he remained in it an instructor pilot [1] .

Since December 1942 - on the fronts of World War II, he went from a pilot to the commander of an aviation squadron of the 210th assault aviation regiment (since July 1944). He took part in hostilities on the Transcaucasian and North Caucasus fronts , participated in the liberation of the North Caucasus , Krasnodar Territory and Crimea . By the beginning of 1944, Sinkov made 109 sorties on the Il-2 attack aircraft , personally destroyed 8 tanks , 50 vehicles, 27 horse-drawn carts, 13 guns, 4 warehouses, up to 200 enemy soldiers, sunk 3 enemy barges ; in air battles 1 fighter shot down. In total, during the war he made 134 sorties [1] .

On April 13, 1944, by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for “courage and heroism shown in battles with the Nazi invaders,” Lieutenant Anatoly Sinkov was awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal number 2189 [1] .

In September 1944, he was sent as a listener to the higher courses of navigators of the Air Force in Krasnodar , graduated in March 1945. He continued his service as squadron commander in the 537th assault aviation regiment in the Far East . He participated in the Soviet-Japanese war on the 1st Far Eastern Front [1] .

After the war he continued his service in North Korea . On November 14, 1945, while intoxicated, he raped a 19-year-old Korean girl under the threat of arms in the presence of her parents, as well as robbing an apartment. The military tribunal of the 9th Air Army sentenced Sinkov to 7 years in prison with the deprivation of military rank. October 26, 1948 by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR Sinkov was deprived of all ranks and awards. In 1952 he was released [1] .

After his release, he lived in Moscow , worked in the plumbing trust as the head of ancillary production. On March 16, 1957, he was again sentenced to 5 years in prison for misappropriation of state funds in the amount of about 3,000 rubles and abuse of official position. In December 1957 he was amnestied and released on parole [1] .

Settled in Moscow. Initially, he worked as an engineer at the 5th house administration of the Office of the Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy , since 1960 - a plumber at the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, since 1970 - a mechanic at the Strela machine-building plant of Ilyushin Design Bureau . Repeatedly tried to achieve restoration in the rank of Hero of the Soviet Union. He died in the first half of the 1980s [1] .

He was also awarded the Order of the Red Banner (1943), World War 1 degree (1944), Red Star (1943), a number of medals, including the medal "For Military Merit" (1944) [1] .
