Geographical position
Arryans is located km northeast of Metz . Neighboring communes: Menville in the east, Mani in the southeast, Adencourt in the southwest, Chanville in the northwest.
The area of the commune is 6.98 km², the population is 227 people [3] (2006) with a tendency towards stabilization: 217 people [4] (2013), the population density is 31.1 people / km². Previously part of Lorraine .
History
- The commune is mentioned in 1121 as Argentha .
- It was dependent on the abbey of Saint Pierre and the clan of Warsaw .
