Shrub up to 1.5 m tall. Branches and twigs are covered with straight 0.7-1.3 cm long, paired, with flattened spikes toward the base [2] .
Leaves are pinnate, with three, less often with four pairs of lateral leaflets and one apical leaflet, equal in size to the upper lateral. The leaflets are broadly ovoid or obovate, rounded or with a slight cusp at the apex (1.0) 1.4-1.7 (2.3) cm length, (0.5) 0.7-1.2 (1.8) cm widths, from below and from above bare, along the edge of pilchato, less often twice serrate-toothed with sessile glands on small teeth. Leaf axis is bare with rare glands. Stipules are narrow, upward directed, along the edge with sessile glands [2] .
Flowers solitary, at least two. Corolla yellow. Pedicels 1.5–3.0 cm long, with bristles and sparse stalked glands. Hypanthias oblong-ovate, upwardly extended into the neck, at the very apex somewhat widened, covered with bristles, less often with stalked glands. Sepals one-piece, 1.7-2.2 cm long, densely stalk-glandular on the outside, densely pubescent on the inside, directed upwards after fading, non-falling. Ripe fruits are brownish-red [2] .
Flowering in the second half of May - July. Fruiting in the second half of August - September.
Rosa fedtschenkoana Regel is distinguished from the close species by softer leaves, yellow color of the corolla, pinnate, and not a single bract, like Rosa fedtschenkoana Regel , [2] .
Endemic Tien Shan . In nature , the species range covers the ranges Fergana , Kok-Irim-Too , Kavak-Too, and Uzunakhmat (Western and Central Tien Shan ) [2] .
It grows in the tree-shrub belt along the slopes.
