Four buildings of the city are included in the National Register of Historic Places of the USA : the district courthouse, the sheriff’s house and the prison, the First Presbyterian Church and the Catholic Church of St. Augustine [3] .
According to data for 2005-2009, 7,920 people lived in the city, including 3,748 men and 4,172 women, the average age was 39.5 years; 93.5% of the inhabitants are white Americans , 69.3% of the inhabitants were of working age [4] .
