Klein Bonaire ( Dutch: Klein Bonaire ) is a desert island in the Caribbean off the west coast of Bonaire Island.

Geography

The islet is located inside the crescent formed by the main island. Area 600 hectares. The surface is quite flat, rising above sea level by less than 1 meter. Distance from Bonaire - 750 m.
History
There are remains of slave huts on the island. In 1868, the island was sold and was in private hands until 1999 , when it was bought for 9 million guilders by the administration of Bonaire, the Wildlife Fund for the conservation of the island's nature.
