Tokyo International Women's Marathon ( 東京 国際 女子 マ マ ソ ン To: Kyo: Kokusai Joshi Marathon ) is a women's marathon held in the Japanese capital Tokyo from 1979 to 2008.

The first race took place in November 1979 with the support of the International Athletic Federation Association . Adriaan Paulen , president of MALF , watching this event, announced that he would support the inclusion of a women's marathon in the Olympic Games .
