Children Of The Corn: Genesis is a 2011 American horror film directed by Joel Soisson, ninth in the movie Children of the Corn, based on the eponymous short story by Stephen King . The film skips the events of the 2009 remake and is a continuation of the series ending in the film " Children of the Corn: Revelation " of 2001.

Story
On the road, a young couple - Tim and his pregnant wife Ellie - are overwhelmed by failure: their car breaks down right in the middle of the desert. Only in the evening, young people get to a small farm, hidden from human eyes. By a happy coincidence, a hospitable priest named Cole and his wife Helen live in the house, who not only allowed the spouses to use their phone, but also to shelter them at home until the morning. However, something worries Ally and Tim in the behavior of the spouses, in addition, at night, Ellie hears a baby cry coming from the barn standing next to the house. Deciding to find out what was the matter, Ellie soon to her horror reveals a terrible secret: Cole leads a bloody cult worshiping a little boy, inside of whom something lives.
