Geographical position
Remren is located 37 km northeast of Metz . Neighboring communes: Berviller en Moselle in the northeast, Mertan in the southeast, Falk in the south, Dalan in the southwest, Tromborn and Bretnash in the west, Oberdorf and Chateau Rouge in the northwest.
History
- Mentioned as Rimeringa apud Machera in 1121 .
