Geographical position
Remelfan is located 30 km northeast of Metz . Neighboring communes: Buzonville and Vodreshen in the northeast, Alzen in the east, Brettnash in the southeast, Velwen and Valmanster in the south, Ollen in the southwest, Anzelen in the west, Frestrof in the northwest.
History
- The commune of the former duchy of Lorraine was part of the Senorate Valmanster , the domain of the Saarist Abbey Mettlash .
