Story
Sarah (Jessica Lowndes), along with her friends Cory (Ryan Donohu), Bruce (Landon Liboiron), Mel (Julian Guill) and Sal (Jake Weiry) go to a concert on a small plane. Having recently received a pilot's license, the heroine wants to fly around cloudy when the aircraft becomes uncontrolled.
People in trouble are ready to do anything to ensure that the remaining fuel is enough to land the plane. At the risk of life, Corey gets out of the aircraft to try to fix the lift. Fearing a friend, Sal sees something and cuts the rope so that he himself does not fall into the hands of an unknown creature.
Heroes begin to speculate when something literally absorbs the plane. Bruce says that the monster is the fruit of his imagination. He barely overcomes the nightmare, thereby preventing a past plane crash of his parents.

Shooting
Kaari Andrews and the brothers Yen and Paul Birketty have teamed up to remove the mini-trailer without any budget. They did it in one day on one of the take-off fields in Vancouver, like a trailer for the movie "Machete." The result was of interest to the studios Darclight and Telefilm, which gave the authors a budget of $ 3.5 million - “enough to make a good film.” According to the authors, the concept of the celestial monster came to mind after mentioning the works of Howard Phillips Lovecraft [10] .
Some of the filming took place at the airport of Lagley [11] , as well as in Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada [12] . The main shooting took place in a copy of the aircraft "Piper Chieftain" model C-MYZX (this number is fictional) [13] , parts of which were easily separated from each other, giving access to the cabin for the crew. Virtually all scenes of flight in the air were created using computer graphics [10] .
Release
Criticism
Despite the modest budget and less than the usual special effects, many critics called the film “a breath of fresh air compared to an abundance of horror films, which are shot using the same template”! Richard Scheib said: “The film does not offend the viewer with its secondary and well-worn cliches” [14] . Other critics noted that the film copes well with another task - to maintain interest in a confined space: "An interesting one and a half hour thriller, gradually introducing a state of pure panic" [15] .
Video output
The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray October 26, 2010 [16] [17] . In Canada, the picture released the company "Alliance Films". The thriller was also screened at the 28th Turin Film Festival, held from November 26 to December 4, 2011 .
